Hotels in Riyadh record their greatest occupancy since 2008
The month of February in Riyadh hotels enjoyed a boom, with the greatest occupancy since 2008. The Saudi Arabian capital's hotel performance was examined by data firm STR, which revealed rises in every category.
Over the month, occupancy rates were 75.5 percent, with three days at 90 percent or above early on in the month.
In comparison to 2019 levels, ADR increased by 23.4 percent to SAR801.46 and RevPAR increased by 65.3 percent to SAR605.06.
While hotels will welcome higher ADRs, they come at a time when the pricing of Saudi hotels is being examined more carefully.
Most young Saudis are unable to afford luxurious hotels in the nation. According to a study, travel within Saudi Arabia is hindered most by high costs for Gen Z Saudis.
The need for additional affordable solutions in the nation is addressed in the Knight Frank report.
Saudi citizens routinely travel within the Kingdom, although some are deterred by exorbitant expenses, according to Knight Frank's survey of 498 Saudi homes conducted in collaboration with YouGov.
