Local media in Iran have reported an incident involving the Sahand, a Moudge-class frigate in the Southern Fleet of the Islamic Republic of Iran Navy, in Bandar Abbas, south Iran. The incident occurred in the waters of Bandar Abbas, the capital of Hormozgan Province.
According to the latest updates, a section of the destroyer has submerged underwater. Reports indicate injuries resulting from the incident, with the injured individuals already transported to hospitals for treatment.
