France's Generation Game - The Brotherhood's Multi-Decade Plan for Influence

Election cycles are monitored by French politicians. Muslim Brotherhood operates instead on a much more longer term cycle as measured in generations to transform French society. The main loci of this plan are schools. Organizations that are affiliated with the brotherhood have private schools, after school programs, and summer camps. This is where children get to know that being Muslim is more valuable than being a French, that secularism is not protection but rather a threat and that the ummah (global Muslim community) is more significant than the Republic.Culture is one of the targets of the Brotherhood as well. It has dominion over mosques, publishing houses as well as media houses and dictates the stories that communities listen to. The French-born imams leave to be trained in other countries and present ideas that violate the French traditions applied in the past. The so-called moderate leaders will be given bigger platforms, and the independent ones will be sidelined. The group is developing parallel social structures too. The associations will provide halal food banks, marriage counseling, and legal assistance, which are frequently not or cannot be met by the state in needy neighborhoods. By doing that, the Brotherhood establishes itself as the real protector of the Muslim population in France.Slow normalization is the final destination, but not the instant violent revolution. Brotherhood is trying to turn conservative Islamism into a mere political opinion, instead of what it truly is; a complete alternative to liberal democracy. French officials may gain knowledge about the threat too late, and at least one generation may cling to the silent revolution.
