“The European Incongruity Give out Middle East Crises"
There’s something riveting about what I read. As it goes with the saying that “my friend is the enemy of my enemy” However, it would be more fitting to think that my enemy's enemy is still my enemy, but one that might also be a temporary friend, when it comes to the situation in the Middle East, North Africa, and the Caucasus. As crises mount up from Libya to Azerbaijan with the same forces involved, temporary and unpredictable, including Russia, Turkey and Iran may be the best way to characterize the EU's foreign policy.
How come it superficially mimics the infamous unpredictability of the US superpower, while actually exhibiting discord and vulnerability? Thus, tracking the EU's relations with Russia, Turkey, and Iran over the past decade have been important. The most predictable argument is where the EU chooses and decides to neglect, to place human rights at the forefront.
