Forecasters call the temperature rise due to California Wildfire ‘heat dome’ as it wreaks havoc in the climate processes
Wildfire starting from North California has wreaked havoc in the region has destroyed over 550 homes. The fire has been spreading throughout the forest as well as residential areas for nearly a month and on Wednesday, an official called the Wildfire one of the most destructive things in state history.
The official also said that the crew could only manage to control 30 percent of the damage till August 11. The fire broke out on July 14 in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, which are nearly 260 km northeast of Sacramento. As per the records, this was the second-largest wildfire incident in the state’s history.
Following the report on the damage, the California Department of Forestry and Fire protection stated, “High pressure continues to build over the incident and will be the dominant feature with predicted thunderstorms moving in this week.”
The dixie fire in the same state earlier had destroyed more than 500,000 acres. It was reported that the damage was equivalent to 10 to 11 destructive wildfires across California. To control the damage, nearly 10,000 personnel were involved, of which two were firefighters who along with another civilian was injured.
This blaze has till now destroyed 1,000 single-family homes and several other structures that catered to facilities in the area. Things became worse last week when the flames started to roar from the historic mining town of Greenville. This means that its main street is suffering from smoldering heat and it will take no time to ruin.
Till now, California used to experience peak fire season towards later in the year but this time, it was an expected scare. This has been the worst fire recorded this season, making it all the more difficult for survival rates.
Climate change is a huge issue all over the world but with America and especially California due to the gro2ing factories and manufacturing sector, it is all the more difficult.
