Iran's 'Zombie Angelina Jolie' released from jail, reveals face

After being released from prison, an Iranian woman who gained notoriety on Instagram for posting eerie images that resembled the Hollywood actor Angelina Jolie unveiled her true identity. Sahar Tabar was detained in October 2019 and given a 10-year prison term after being accused of "corruption" and "blasphemy."

However, she was freed after 14 months as a result of widespread protests around the nation that were brought on by Mahsa Amini's passing last month. Ms. Tabar was popularly thought to have had cosmetic surgery, which would explain why she resembled a frightening Angelina Jolie.

The 21-year-old finally revealed her true personality to the cameras this week after being released, according to a report in the Independent.

On social media, a lot of people had started campaigns demanding her release. Masih Alinejad, a campaigner, is one of them. During her time in prison, Ms. Alinejad tweeted: "Only 19 years old, Sahar Tabar. She was arrested due to her joke. Every day she weeps for the release of her helpless daughter. We need Angelina Jolie to speak up in this situation. Aid us."

Ms. Tabar claimed to have had lip fillers, liposuction, and a nose job after being released from prison but emphasized that the notorious photos were the result of Photoshop manipulation and makeup. She was referred to online as "zombie Angelina Jolie" as a result of her eerie photographs.

According to news.com.au, she claimed that the computer effects she employed to produce the photograph were what you saw on Instagram.

Ms. Tabar, whose actual name is Fatemeh Khishvand, claimed that she has always aspired to fame and that the macabre makeover was her choice to attract attention from around the world. The woman added that there was an easier way in online. It was far simpler than becoming an actor, she added, according to the source.

Additionally, Ms. Tabar apologized and said that the pictures were made as a "joke." "My mother tried to get me to stop, but I wasn't paying attention."
