Yemen’s peacemaking efforts jeopardized by Houthi attack in Marib says PM Abdulmalik
Yemeni Prime Minister Ma'een Abdulmalik stated that a Houthi missile attack on the gas station in Yemen's Marib is a war crime intended to jeopardize the ongoing peacemaking efforts.
On Saturday, the Houthi's long-range ballistic missiles and drones struck the Rawdha neighborhood in the city of Marib, which killed and injured seventeen people, including kids.
The provincial governor’s press secretary Ali Al-Ghulisi expressed that "the Houthi assault on the gas station again exhibited that these terror groups are bloody, aggressors are dire to ruin any efforts towards peace," he added.
The nation's Minister of Information Muammar Al-Eryani stated that the major attack that killed 21 civilians is an extension of the constant aim by the Houthis towards targeting neighborhoods in Marib, intending to cause the biggest number of fatalities.
The Arab Parliament approached the international community to intercede earnestly and take definitive measures to stop this radical violence and violations. The Parliament expressed that the Houthis ought to be considered responsible for their actions towards jeopardizing the peace process and ceasefire efforts taken by the Stockholm Agreement.
