According to a report released by the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics to commemorate the 47th Palestine Land Day, Israeli settlement and violence against Palestinians escalated in 2022.

According to the research, 83 settlement proposals for more than 22,000 settlement units in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem were approved by the Israeli occupation authority.

Also, it was stated that by the end of 2022, there would be 483 Israeli occupation sites and military stations in the occupied West Bank, including over 160 illegal settlements and a sizable number of illegal outposts.

According to the research, there would be 719,452 Israeli settlers living in the occupied West Bank by the end of 2022.

According to the report, more than 85% of the territory that once belonged to historic Palestine is currently under Israeli control.

According to the study, illegal settlers attacked Palestinian residents and their property 8,724 times in 2022 while being protected by occupying soldiers. 362 assaults targeted lands and natural resources, 1,515 attacks targeted Palestinian people, and 6,847 attacks targeted property and places of worship.

63 times have been attempted by settler groups to create colony outposts.

During the olive harvest, occupation forces and settlers damaged trees and took 294 Palestinian possessions, including 48 agricultural vehicles and 53 cars.

According to the research, Israel has killed over 100,000 Palestinians since the 1948 Nakba, when it was founded.
